In this video Annie Leonard is trying to help change the world by encouraging people to take action as citizens, not just as consumers. She posits that green consuming is necessary, but must be a starting, not an ending, point. Shopping can help to protect the planet but part of that effort involves putting down their credit cards and exercising their citizen muscles to build a more sustainable, just and fulfilling world.
