Chris Maser has over 40 years of experience in ecological research in agricultural, alpine, coastal, desert, forest, marsh, valley grassland, riverine, shrub steppe, and subarctic settings. He has lived, worked, consulted, and lectured in: Austria, Canada, Chile, Egypt, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the United States. He has spent many years developing new ways of understanding social-environmental sustainability. He has over 285 publications, including 34 books.
