Frito-Lay Chips In to Promote Renewable Energy

It’s not so often that companies are willing to invest in renewable energy, and make radical changes to their means of transport. However, Frito-Lay is one of the unique companies that is willing to do so. They’ve recently announced that 8 new electric trucks will be roaming the city of Boston. Those 8 trucks are not alone; this year, Frito-Lay will be employing 176 trucks in the United States and Canada.

Facebook Greenlights Green Plans

Mega social networking site Facebook has long been urged by Greenpeace to “unfriend coal,” and to switch to greener energy.
The first indication that Facebook was moving into a more eco-friendly direction was in October, when the social networking giant announced that they would be building a new center in Sweden

When Renewable Energy Is Too Expensive

While renewable energy is very important, it is also important to consider the consumers’ financial capabilities. If it’s possible to reap the benefits of renewable energies without hitching up prices to unreasonable costs for consumers, then shouldn’t we explore those options instead of jumping on the green energy train without proper financial analysis?
